What 'Made to Be Worn' Actually Means
Four rules every piece has to pass before it gets a name. None of them is about how it looks on a hanger.
"Made to be worn" is on our statement page in letters taller than a person. Here is what it means in practice, because a slogan that cannot be checked is just decoration.
1. It has to earn its place, not its moment
We would rather sell you one piece you wear for years than ten you forget in a season. A piece that only works on the day it is bought does not get made.
2. The fibre comes first
Everything begins with the cloth. Get the fibre and the weight right and the garment almost draws itself; get them wrong and no amount of cutting will save it. The product page tells you what each piece is made of, under View Product Details.
3. Nothing to hide
What we know about a piece, you can read on its page: fibre, weight, care, and the colour you will actually receive. If we cannot say it plainly, we do not say it.
4. Quiet, always
No loud logos. The cloth does the talking, and it speaks softly. A wearon.co piece should be recognised by the person wearing it, not by the people looking at it.
How you can hold us to it
Wear it. If a piece fails any of the four within your first week, ask us to collect it. Returns and exchanges are free within seven days of delivery, and a faulty piece is on us at any time.
