The hoodie has spent years cast as gymwear, and we think that sells it short. Designed in Dubai and cut from heavyweight loopback cloth chosen for its weight and drape, ours is built to sit somewhere quieter — closer to a soft-tailored layer than a sweat top. Learning how to style a hoodie well is really a question of weight, drape and restraint, and that is where we begin.
Weight is the whole story
What separates a considered hoodie from a forgettable one is the cloth itself. A dense loopback knit holds a clean drape from the shoulder, lets the hood stand without collapsing, and keeps its shape through a long day rather than clinging or pilling. Reach for one of our deeper tones — bone, slate, char — and the garment reads as deliberate, not casual by accident.
Proportion, and what to layer it under
A hoodie earns its place when the proportions are resolved: a relaxed but not oversized body, sleeves that break cleanly at the wrist, a hem that sits at the hip rather than swallowing it. Worn open over a fine tee, or layered beneath an unstructured overcoat or a relaxed blazer, it bridges off-duty and considered without effort. Cut on a unisex block, it sits as easily on broad shoulders as on a smaller frame — pair it with straight trousers and a leather sneaker and the look settles itself.
Keeping the hood and cuffs honest
Loopback cotton rewards a gentle hand. Wash cold and inside out, skip the tumble dryer, and dry flat so the hood, cuffs and drawcords keep their structure instead of stretching out over time.
